| Introduction | I am born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I have enjoyed creative careers in diverse industries and am now expanding that creativity to new horizons. My background consists of working as a staff artist in the toy and craft industry and I have enjoyed a 23 year career within the design studios of the car industry. But things are changing and I am broadening my horizons to better opportunities. I am the owner of two blogs! One is segregated to the world of watercolor in which I have received national and international recognition. Having won the Gold Medal of Honor in 2007 from the American Watercolor Society has put me on the radar. I have been published in Watercolor Artist Magazine, "Splash 11-New Directions" hard-cover book in 2010. Since then I have exhibited internationally and locally and will continue to learn and improve. I received my Signature Membership with the American Watercolor Society in 2018. My other blog "Digital by Design" is a platform for showcasing my designs in mulitmedia digital art. I have completed studies in Media & Communication Arts. I am currently teaching the digital arts in a local community college. |
