Introduction	D.F. Zorensky, author of Safe On Third, is an attorney and mediator, who now resides in Northern California after spending many years in Washington, D.C., where he did much of the historical research for his book at the Library of Congress. A graduate of Harvard Law School and Yale, Mr. Zorensky was at one time a government labor lawyer, as well as the chief counsel of a U.S. Senate subcommittee. Reaching the peak of his own political career, Mr. Zorensky once served as the mayor of Ross, California.
