| Introduction | I am the youngest of three children in an Iowa farming family. However, I was raised like an only child since my sister is 18 years older than me and my brother is 15 years older. For that reason, perhaps, I was spoiled a little. Born to my parents when they were 42 and 40 years of age, I was a huge surprise but loved immensely none-the-less. I have now been married for over 20 years to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful daughters, ages 18 and 15. I have three passions: carving out any time I can with my family, reading and studying God's Word and running (I hope to run a half-marathon in 2011). My youngest daughter has autism so working to overcome the barriers associated with her developmental delays are always part of my day. Oh - wine and coffee(specifically Caribou Coffee) are also passions! |
