| Introduction | I'm the mother of 2 human babies and 9 babies from the animal kingdom. I am focused right now on preparedness and sustainability for my family. I grow organic vegetables; can, freeze, and dehydrate them; am a certified amateur radio operator (technican class, working on general); am active in our local Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES); and am working on my Skywarn certifications. I am learning many new extended first aid skills as well. I am an avid couponer and we live very frugally. I am a firm believer in the second amendment and hold a carry permit which I actively utilize. :-) |
