| Introduction | I'm a freelance writer and mother of two, happily living in Asheville, North Carolina, with my Prince Charming and two Sweet Angels. Here's the scoop: I don't have to be asked twice to do karaoke (keep your ear plugs handy,) I recycle stuff into works of art, I plant things in the ground that sometimes grow, and I have become adept at caulking around bathtubs, sinks, and anything else that can possibly leak in a house. These are the skills I am most proud of, in addition to raising two children who, thankfully, are exhibiting signs of excellent mental health despite being raised by a "creative" (i.e. one step away from the loony bin) mother. |

I grew up in suburban Miami, Florida. I may not be able to find my way back home, since I am now one with the mountains and South Florida seems like a distant dream...but the beach does beckon still.
