Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
To ensure the optimal flavor and shelf-life of raspberries that will be processed into Kool-Aid or other unnatural forms, it is important that they, while still alive, are held underwater until they can no longer breathe--much like boiling a live shellfish or drawing a confession from a witch. In the process, they turn blue from lack of oxygen.
