| Introduction | Born in Arkansas, I spent the first 20 years of my life in the south and moved 'up here' in 1975. I attended the University of Wisconsin/River Falls and studied Journalism and Theatre. After working in photo stores, importing flowers from South America, and pretending to run a greenhouse/flower shop I found my niche and spent almost 30 years in the plumbing and construction industry. After working as a project manager for a plumbing and building company that went belly up (not my fault...I swear!)I finagled some elements of that business into Rite-Way Plumbing, Inc., of which I was the major stockholder, President, and CEO until I sold my interests in late 2005. Since then I have written 5 books, mysteries and thrillers. I'm currently at work on my 6th book,this one seared to the YA crowd. |
