Introduction	My name is Sudipto Roy. I am an amateur bird lover, photographer and recordist from Calcutta, India. This blog was originally meant to be a link to the various online postings I make of different bird photographs or recordings. However, now there are three blogs under the same id - one deals with bird sounds, another deals with nature sounds as a whole (including other creatures and general sounds made by the earth - like a gurgling brook or a sea etc. There is another blog on the man-made sounds - mostly in Calcutta or collected during my travels. My recording equipment is an Edirol R09HR coupled to a Rode Videomicpro, my camera gear is a Canon 7D mated to a Canon 400 mm F5.6 lens. Unless specifically mentioned - the photograph that goes with the call isn't of the same individual. You are free to use my photographs or sounds as long as you give credit to me and don't pass them off as your work. If you are using them commercially please include the same condition for others to use them.
