| Introduction | I was one of the team of chaplains at the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Following on from that, in 2005 I became 'Chaplaincy Coordinator for Women in Sport' for SCORE, the UK's sports chaplaincy charity [now renamed Sports Chaplaincy UK]. As part of this, I became Chaplain at Charlton Athletic Women's Football Club. In 2008, I was appointed as Visiting Sports Chaplain at Loughborough University. Sadly, my SCORE post ended in May 2009 due to a lack of sustainable funding. My Loughborough role wasn't initially affected and continued to develop, until it too came to an end in early 2011. I now work for Lincolnshire Chaplaincy Services (LCS) as Urban and Industrial Chaplain in North East Lincolnshire, whilst continuing an active interest in the development of sports chaplaincy |
