Introduction Many seasons ago my fantasy Commish dubbed me The Sportsvixen, and the name stuck. It was suggested that I start a column under that moniker, thus this blog was born. Then I realized OCD blogging didn't mix with work, actually watching the sports I love, and having a life. So this blog became writing sample mini-storage. Now I'm picking it up again, without pressure of writing anything SI worthy. Here are my stats:

Born: June 24, 1977, Fort Worth, TX

College: University of Texas

Baseball Team of Choice: The NY Mets

But, I also root for the BoSox (guilt from ’86, mutual Yankee hatred, and it's impossible not to love Papi.)

Football Team of Choice: Dallas Cowboys (3rd Generation Fan)

Basketball Team of Choice: The NY Knicks

Hockey Team of Choice: I'm from Texas, "Hockey is polar bear shit." But I do enjoy looking at Sydney Crosby, yum.

Other teams/sports I enjoy:

Longhorns Football
Blue Devils College Hoops
Tennis
Soccer, when it's a big deal.
Bull Riding, yet oddly, not NASCAR
Golf (on rare occasions)
