| Introduction | Samantha was born in 1991 in Singapore. She is trained in Art since young and will be graduating with a degree in Fine Arts in Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University with a major in Animation and her work has since crossed multiple mediums within art, including drawing, installation and video art. Drawing upon her Eastern heritage and contemporary social issues as a conceptual basis, her projects largely focuses on themes, such as transitions in life, in a style that highlights the culture she grew up in. She believes that Art is a tool that illustrates the world we live in, capable of bringing to life intangible concepts like emotions and imagination. |
