Introduction	I'm an aquarist and SCUBA diver in the Giant Ocean Tank at the New England Aquarium. I got this coveted job in 2005, after serving as a volunteer with the penguins. Being able to dive a Caribbean reef year-round while living in Boston, and get paid for it on top of that, is a dream come true. Working at an Aquarium has definitely opened my eyes up. I am proud to say that I live blue and do my best to help protect our blue planet. Outside of work, I have many outdoor hobbies, including running marathons, snowboarding, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and hiking... I have 2 thru-hikes under my belt: the AT in 2003 and the PCT in 2009. I should also add that I am the coach of the New England Aquarium Boston Marathon charity team, which I have fun doing. To feed my outdoor gear fix, I work a part-time job at REI in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston.
