| Introduction | The "group" i.e project which is more or less solo run these days called Riot in London was formed in 2011. The name itself "Riot in London" was born out the youth uprisings that took place across Britain in August 2011 including London. Recordings of electronic, industrial, EBM, Tekno style music began that summer. The music is free to download via Soundcloud or Youtube. The experimental industrial-EBM electronic music project formed following a decade long break from recording electronic music. It is heavily influenced by the electronic- dark industrial -EBM bands of the post punk early 80-s. The synthesist/producer in Riot in London began making EBM and industrial sounds in the early 80-s right though until the late 90-s and continues the experimental, industrial electronic tradition together with clear leftist anti-capitalism moods in some of the tracks. The founder began making electronic music in the early 80-s influenced by the electronic music scene of that time. Influenced by early 80-s synth pop bands and bands like early Human League, Kraftwerk, Caberet Voltaire and others. Currently working on electronic - experimental tracks. |
