| Introduction | I think this phase of my life can best be described as the "mid-life crisis" years. I didn't worry too much about the things that weren't working for me up until now, as I thought there was plenty of time to reach my personal goals after I accomplished some modest professional ones. Twenty years passed by in the blink of an eye, and I am beginning to realize I need to make some drastic changes right now, as the next 20 years are going to go by just as quickly. The kids will be gone, the career winding down, and opportunities for change will be somewhat limited. |
