| Introduction | Baltrasna Boreen is a small road linking the townlands of Marlinstown and Baltrasna east of Mullingar. The road crosses the Royal Canal and finishes at the Dublin-Sligo railway line. The hedges and grassy verges along the road are home to many small birds and insects. Our community group is undertaking a biodiversity project which is supported by Waterways Ireland through a community heritage grant. |
