| Introduction | Francis D. Hardy is not Francis' true name. She is Francis because she wants to be Francis, and because she is aware that there is no such thing as Identity or Truth, so we might as well project ourselves into alternate realities. She recognizes that this is not very descriptive or appropriate for an "About Me" section, and so offers that in the case that reincarnation is the upshot, Francis would like to come back as a basset hound.
