| Introduction | Hi! Welcome to my blog. I'm a final year student on the BA Design course at Goldsmiths, University of London. I’m currently working on one self-set major project, the results of which you’ll see in the Goldsmiths degree show at the end of May. I use this blog to document the work I'm doing, exhibitions I've seen, and what I'm up to. My brief is to make food choices easier and simpler for consumers. I want to do this by simplifying the demands of welfare, ethics, food miles and nutrition, and balancing them with the issues of cost and location. I’ve chosen to address the issue of budget because I don’t want the project to be elitist. I’m doing this project because I have strong beliefs and opinions about eating ethical and healthy food, but I find it complicated to do. My context report (dissertation) helped me to explore welfare & ethics, food miles and nutrition, and possible solutions. As a result I came up with a set of guidelines for healthy and ethical eating. I don’t know of an existing solution that addresses all of these issues.
