Introduction	Hi My name is Colette, I am 45, and if I am honest, obsessed with skincare. I wasn't always like this, and I don't really know how or when it started. I suspect it was round about the time when my dimple first turned into a permanent line. Around the same time I noticed a single smokers lip line on my upper lip, and a few fine lines under my eyes. I would have been in my early 30's At 34 I quit my 20 year, 30 a-day habit for good. A year or so later I rifled through some photos and noticed how awful and grey I looked in pictures taken whilst I still smoked. That was when I started to compare myself to other women of my age. I also seemed to have a lot of friends that just naturally looked great for their age, women in their forties who at a push could pass for late twenties. I on the other hand never seemed to surprise anyone when I gave my age - there was never any - 'gosh I thought you were only x'. I still don't seem to surprise anyone - but I am working on it This is my Journey.
