| Introduction | First and foremost, welcome. Pour yourself some wine and make yourself at home. You can call me Xteener. The name is a combination of two nicknames: one given to me by some of my best friends and the other from a high school teacher with a British accent. I am a 25 year old student/copywriter/cosmetologist. I spend my days working at a hoity-toity salon, my nights at school, and every other spare second working out my left brain with a plethora of different hobbies including writing, beading, and crafting. I am extremely neurotic and claustrophobic. You should be able recognize these traits in the things that I write about so I won’t go into a lot of detail here. Just know that every pencil on my desk is lined up in a parallel pattern on my desk and any thing that comes too close to my face will send me into a panic attack. The thing in my life that helps to balance out my neurosis is Bridge Man. He is a civil engineer and designs bridges for the state of Illinois. He can be described as a political junkie, a history buff, and the smartest guy I know. He and I are getting married this August. This is another topic that will be covered adequately via this blog. |
