Introduction	Dr. Spector earned his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. He completed a transitional internship (half medical/half surgical) at Overlook Hospital, a Columbia teaching affiliate, after which he trained in ophthalmology at New York University and psychiatry at Columbia. The psychological effects of medical illness became a central interest of his psychiatric practice. In focussing on support systems for medical patients and their families he became a student of the art of referral and how to obtain the best results in the present medical system. After 15 years in academic medicine and private practice these skills were honed and Pantheon Medicine (a personalized medical service organization designed to assist the individual in getting the best health care possible) was created. Over the past 5 years preventive medicine and physical conditioning became the focus. Dr. Spector has left clinical practice to fully dedicate his time to helping individuals attain peak fitness in every aspect of their lives. He works with private clients in New York City.
