| Introduction | I am a professed bibliophile who will read just about anything I can get my hands on, although it takes me a lot longer to get through a book now that I have kids! I prefer stories with at least a little humor, but a good sci fi, fantasy, dog-lover's mystery, or paranormal story can definitely hold my attention. I always root for the underdog (surprise!)and prefer animals over quite a few people in my acquantance. I love to dance and sing and make things, although they never turn out the way I envisioned them in my head. I'm a high school math teacher in my day job and for the most part I really like it. Teenagers can be fun, despite the bad rep they've gotten! I have an incredibly supportive husband who doesn't mind that I'm the anti-Martha Stewart and two wonderful, maverick daughters who will never be Martha Stewart look-alikes either, although my youngest has an unfortunate attraction to all things pink. And finally, I have more dogs and cats than my husband would like us to have, but not nearly enough for my daughters. Have I mentioned how great they are? |
