| Introduction | I grew up in Pacific Palisades, California, and graduated from the University of Southern California and Ashland Theological Seminary (Ashland, Ohio). I served as a church planter and senior pastor in Ohio, Michigan, and California, the latest being Desert Springs Church, Palm Desert, California, from which I retired in 2006. Currently I am a part of Prism Leadership Group, working with churches in consulting capacity, conducting marriage seminars, and writing. I have written six books, numerous articles, published here and abroad. Titles include: Power Points (Harper Collins); Power Healing (Harper Collins); The Way to Maturity (Regal); The Kingdom & the Power (with Dr. Gary Greig, Regal Books). In 2006 Christianity Today named Power Evangelism the 12th most significant book in evangelicalism in the past 50 years. A 25th Year anniversary edition will be released in May of 2009 by Regal Books. My wife Suzanne and I have been married 40 years and have three grown children and three grandchildren. We live in Camarillo, California. |
