| Introduction | After initially training as a dancer at the Legat School of Classical Ballet, I then decided that I wanted to teach and went onto study at the Royal Academy of Dance. I hold my RAD Teaching Diploma and ISTD DDE's in Imperial Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap Dance. I have been a freelance dance teacher and have run my own dance school since the early 1990's entering candidates for both RAD and ISTD examinations, as well as choreographing for and producing school shows. More recently I have also become an approved mentor for the RAD CBTS programme, so now have trainee dance teachers on placement for their practical teaching modules. I also have a BSC (Hons) Physiotherapy and until recently was practicing as a Specialist Senior Learning Disability Physiotherapist. |
