| Introduction | Our year of Change ! After many years of searching the world for the perfect boat, we finally find her right under our noses in Pittwater. Evening Star is a 49ft Hinckley, a famous boat yard in Maine, USA. 3 years ago we chartered the exact same boat in Maine with our friends Rose and Scot, so we knew this boat ticked all our boxes. We finally got her in March this year and about 2 weeks after this Mark left his job ! Good timing or what ..... After 2 back to back HSC's, Mark not working and Alastair only in Year 4,we have decided to take Evening Star to the Whitsundays for Term 3. We intend to home school Ali ourselves and cruise the Barrier Reef until October. And so our Crazy Gap Term begins ...... |
| Interests | Yoga - I intend to take my mat and attempt Sun Salutations on the deck. For all my yoga friends, the new pose is "legs up the mast"' not legs up the wall. Relaxing after a long day at sea ! |
| Favorite books | So far on my trip I have read a trashy book on Hollywood yoga, Calebs Crossing (fabulous), Arh Do's story - funny and so sad. |
