| Introduction | I promise I won't try to impress you if you promise not to judge me. This blog is about real life - messy, complicated, tough, carefree, joyous, reflective, and even silly. I'm blessed to share life with my husband of fourteen years and pastor extraordinaire, Dale. We have three distinctly different but equally charming kids. They keep me on my toes and insure that my head never gets too big. I'm passionate about loving my husband well and being his help meet. He's my best friend and we look forward to being alone together again one day. I take quite seriously the sacred role of nurturing and training the three eternal souls entrusted to my care. I recognize the importance of community among women and despise the competition and comparisons. We need each other for friendship, encouragement, and reinforcement. I don't take myself too seriously and I love to laugh until my cheeks hurt. You can call me a recovering perfectionist with a newly softened sarcastic sense of humor - a work in progress. I'm endeavoring to be more intentional. There are big plans piling up in my head and I need to start seeing them come to fruition. Laugh at me, laugh with me, share your thoughts and ideas. |

| Favorite books | Pride & Prejudice is my favorite - hands down. Beyond that there are far too many to list. I enjoy anything by John Bevere or Beverly Lewis. |
