Industry Communications or Media
Occupation Writer
Location Baltimore City
Introduction Entrepreneur, historic preservationist, designer, hostess and writer, Donna Beth is a life-long resident of Baltimore City, her muse. For 13 years at her Old Waverly History Exchange & Tea Room, she served local and globetrotting afternoon tea lovers, garnered Top Ten Restaurant and Baltimore’s Best awards, and created a new look in wedding cakes and cookies. She was most recently the director of communications for East Baltimore Development Inc. (EBDI), a public/private nonprofit partnership undertaking the largest redevelopment project in Baltimore. A graduate of the Vermont Institute for Artisan Cheese at the University of Vermont, she still dreams of making kosher goat cheese and bread, the two staples of life, in an historic downtown Baltimore City building. Donna Beth resides along the Inner Harbor, where extreme cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, and other domestic pursuits distract her from rehabbing the lifetime project she calls home.
