| Introduction | I started writing this blog (with trepidation, I must admit) when Rusty and I quite unexpectedly had our miracle, Carter, at 24 weeks 6 days gestation… At just 1.7 lbs, she made her way into this world at 11:29 PM on Wednesday, May 27, 2009. The original purpose of my blogging, naturally, was to inform friends and family of Carter’s status in her 3 month Neonatal ICU stay, and to gather all the prayers we could (which WORKED, incidentally!!!) I have so enjoyed keeping up with the blog, albeit not incredibly consistently, that I have decided to continue sharing stories of our family - especially now that we have our sweet son, Grey, who joined our family at 3:59 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2011!
