Introduction I've been on this earth for roughly half a century! I'm a Southern Belle with rough edges still absorbing the pressures that will force me into a brilliant diamond, but right now I'll settle for just a little luster or shine .. I'm a college graduate of a school that in the 1950's claimed a young woman was not a "real co-ed" until she was kissed under the Tower at midnight, then in the 1970's that saying evolved into you were not a "real co-ed until you were laid at the lake," so I'll plead the 5th on that count .. I'm divorced and like the song states, "I said I do, signed I don't, and swore I'd never do that again" .. I'm running my own business and trying to stay ahead of the paper work .. I've written 17 children's books (none published yet, but still trying) .. and have written several TV and movie treatments (none picked up yet, but still trying) .. like most baby boomers, I get up every day happy to be on this side of the cemetery grass, still putting one foot in front of the other, and trying to get through the day and be able to go to bed then wake up the next morning with a chance to do it all over.. and the buzzards keep circling!
Interests easier to list what does not interest me ... cutting grass .. cleaning house .. washing clothes .. going to the gynecologist .. men who whine, men who want to marry their mothers .. AARP membership .. people who talk about food instead of eating food .. people who have never "worked" for a living .. people who are not open-minded
Favorite Movies Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Sex And The City, The Lake House ... see the pattern here -- I go for most chick flicks
Favorite Music Most anything from the 1960's and 1970's that I can listen to while drinking "umbrella drinks" ... some habits are hard to break ... I will listen to country music when times are tough and I am drinking the hard stuff
Favorite Books I write 'em ... don't have time to read the rambling thoughts of others

When you hesitate before hitting snooze on your alarm clock, are you being lazy?

That alarm clock is "reveille" for the circling buzzards ... another day for them to circle above me. Therefore, hitting the snooze button is the 10-minute opportunity to develop a buzzard-beating strategy. ... and the buzzards keep circling!
