| Introduction | I moved from London to the US in 2011 with my American husband. I have a not so secret desire to be a writer but lack the gumption to actually do anything about it & so I instead blog from time to time. I have interests, my favorite of which is anything that allows me to stay at home. So more often than not, you'll find me reading or baking. To placate the husband who is a more social creature and actually likes people; I've also become a big fan of having people over for dinner. I get to cook & drink all from the comfort of my kitchen. We have two dogs & one cat that chooses to live with us when it's convenient for him; around breakfast & dinner time. No children yet but that's OK, the reality is they're even more expensive than the dogs. Who are spoiled by belly rubs & needy for treats. Frankly I blame the parents. I hope you enjoy readings about our lives, which I don't think its overly interesting but perhaps something you can relate to. And honestly, wouldn't it be nice to read about someone normal for once. Who doesn't have it all together or know how to contour but can make you a delicious cake & tell you a ridiculous story over wine to make you laugh out loud. |

| Favorite Music | The kind that involves vodka and a karaoke machine. |
| Favorite Books | I won't answer this because I know I can't answer this without lying. Primarily because it's rare for me to love everything about a book but also because I have secret book shame. I wish I could genuinely rattle of authors such as Tolkien, Orwell, Shakespeare & Steinbeck but they only make sporadic appearances on my bookshelf. *Fun fact I first discovered the word sporadic on Clueless. Cher Horowitz had an influence on both my wardrobe & vocabulary.* |
