| Introduction | If you want to understand my comments on public sites, then you should know: 1) I am a scientist by training with a Ph.D. in physics. 2) Attend church services weekly at a progressive UCC congregation, participating in boards and committees. 3) Am politically independent, because I'm socially liberal and economically moderate. The Democrats haven't reeled me in yet, but the Republicans have completely turned me off. These are not in conflict with each other, but all fit together. If this doesn't make sense to you, you probably don't understand progressive Christianity. |
