| Introduction | Hello! I am a masters student, artist and historical fashion enthusiast based in Buckinghamshire, UK. I have a particular interest in Gothic and Romantic literature and art, especially how they have informed contemporary understanding of a conceptual ‘horror’ art experience. I research and sew clothing and accessories from multiple periods, my current focus is the High Renaissance (c. 1495-1520), fashions of the nobility in Europe. I also enjoy historical European martial arts (HEMA) and train with the rapier and sabre. When I am not studying or sewing, I am working as an art psychotherapist with the NHS. |
