| Introduction | I have always loved adventure. I've ridden on boats shaped like dragons as they wended their way between tiny pine covered islands near Matsushima, Japan and have paddled a boat across Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. I climbed to the the top of Mt. Timpanogas twice, ran through rice fields on my way to visit an orphanage in Sendai, Japan, and have traveled from Billings, to Spokane, to an Idaho potato factory in a semi-tractor trailer. I've had 2 near misses with tornados when I was in South Dakota. I've ridden subways in Paris, London, Tokyo, Osaka, San Francisco, and the "L" in Chicago. I've seen the Pope and have been inside the catacombs near Rome. I love being in the mountains--the more trees the better. Best of all, I like surprising people with unexpected treats and visits. Once I folded 1000 cranes in one week and gave them as a birthday present. |

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
Because when I lost baby teeth when I was little, I put the lost tooth on the kitchen stove and then covered it with at least 2 teaspoons of salt. The next day, I would find a few coins under the salt and my teeth would be gone. My generous tooth fairy generally left dimes, nickels, or maybe one quarter--rarely pennies.
