Introduction	It wasn't in our plans. It was our first trip together to Italy. August 2005. The innocent question,"How much does real estate cost in the area?" led us on a walk up the hill from where we were staying in Tofori. That was at the beginning of our ten-day visit, which ended with buying our house in Petrognano. We've had many visits since that first one; month long visits during the summer and winter. We've had many guests. But now, this is our HOME in Petrognano. A new type of adventure. This is where we live. But, we also will continue to make it a home for friends and friends-to-be, as we have since the first walk up the hill in 2005.
