| Introduction | Après high school, I spent a year in France, where I experienced culture shock for the first time. Then I went to college in the South, where it hit me again. Then I went back to France several times, and ended up in the middlest of the Midwest. Most recently, however, I moved to Brooklyn, NY, where my old friend culture shock reared its unexpected head one more time. This is my trying to sort it all out. |
