Introduction | My life is complicated. It has taken many twists and turns, so that I presently find myself teaching math. In the past, I have made my living as a researcher, an artist, a baker, a fieldworker, etc. I've been through cancer treatments, the failure of my art business, and the death of my husband. Through it all, I have always fallen back to my cats for emotional comfort and to mathematics for mental exercise. I blog about what is important to me as a way to sort out my ideas and get my life running smoothly. So, don't be shocked if I blog one day about my cats and the next day about transfinite numbers. |

Foxes are clever and tigers are cunning. So, what's your cat's safety school?
Depends totally on which cat. For example, Clarissa's school is "Yah, I'm a tortie, you'll get over it." Isabel's is "I can ignore it." And Spencer's is "Can I eat it?"
