IntroductionCitizen of the world, resident of the great white big north, which is thankfully getting warmer these days and there is no white anywhere to be seen anymore. Read my Farsi writings at: http://blueearth.wordpress.com/
Interestsbooks, classical music especially Baroque especially Bach, movies, philosophy, history, politics, science
Favorite moviesAlien 3......OK I am joking. ... No I am not! I love that movie espeically the last scene when she dives into the molten lead lake while she is giving birth to her arch enemy. Mixed with its magnificent music, that is a classic scene. But there are a million other movies I also like, like Dr. Zhivago. I keep searching in vain for the scene in the book which is not in the movie where he is in Leningrad and is reading the paper right at the night of the October revolution where it announces that the Bolsheviks have captured the Winter Palace and he is reading it in that staircase with scant light while snow is falling outside and there is nobody in the streets. And also the scene where the train stops and the locomotive driver escapes in the vast snow of the tundra with the soldiers chasing him. A small dot of humanity on a vast white canvas. Also Matrix One the scene where agent Smith lectures him about human beings being like viruses taking over the whole earth. I felt so bad and embarrassed about my race.
Favorite musicBach Bach and more Bach, Gabrielli and the Venetian music of the 16th and 17th centuries, nearly anything Baroque
Favorite bookspolitics, science, history, self-help. Jean Christoff: it changed my life Capital: Boy I still can't believe I read the whole boring three volumes Works by Herman Hesse, I love Siddharta
