| Introduction | Born in the second year of nineteen eighties VIVEK KULKARNI has come a long way in his life. He is a post-graduate in English. He always looks for something that inspires him to write. The major inspiration came from his life experiences. Before graduating in Arts he failed in two years in B. Com. And three years in B.Sc. These years have influenced him a lot. But those years taught him one thing in Indian society a man is valued only for his academic brilliance otherwise he is cast aside by his family, relatives, friends, and acquaintances. He is abandoned from the herd. After deciding to graduate in arts, he opted for English Literature. It opened a whole new world to him. Global literary giants such as William Shakespeare, William Wordsworth, Thomas Hardy, etc. changed him thoroughly. He decided to become a writer. He has written three novels and one short-story collection in Marathi, his first language. His first Marathi novel was published in 2011. 2024 saw the publication of his first novel in English. |
