| Introduction | Shawn and I met while attending Philadelphia College of Bible. Our first ministry opportunity together was at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia where we took inventory and packaged medical equipment and supplies for the Sudan. Together we have been learning, serving and growing at MMS Aviation in Coshocton, OH. Through this apprentice program, Shawn's training gave him experience maintaining and repairing small aircraft. Most of the aircraft are owned by missionaries and faith based ministries located throughout the world. So in the training process, Shawn had a part in repairing or maintaining an aircraft that has or soon will be reaching lives for Jesus Christ. Shawn has successfully completed the FAA requirements for the Airframe and Powerplant mechanic certificate. Shawn currently has 20 years in the Air Force where he first learned avionics and has become the superintendent of the Air Terminal Operations Center at the base where he serves as a Reservist. When Shawn is not active with the military, we are actively pursuing serving with Harvest Aviation in Wachula, FL. |
