| Introduction | Though American born, I am "Trini to de bone!" I have lived in the Caribbean for years. At a tender age, I just knew I loved art; drawing caricatures, cutting out defined shapes to make cards, making candy pouches and expressing my emotions through poetry. I was always quiet, but soon realised that in order to be noticed I had to get out there! Working my way up from courses to gaining work experience, after years of struggle and hardship, I finally got my BFA in Graphic Design at AIW. I have been working towards my goal ever since, being faced with challenges, but never letting anything get in the way of my success! I, Janeel Archer-Royer, now the Creative Director of Janquil Designs and SPEAK poetic expressions, have been working diligently to create an atmosphere where I can speak to the world through visual communications and expression. I would like to open my door and mind to you; so as to show you the many opportunities out there. |
