| Introduction | I am a former Durham, NC resident. I lived in Durham for three years from 2002-2005. I am an avid fan of all Duke Athletics. I have had a tremendous interest in this case since the story broke in March of 2006. I find the charges against the Duke three ridiculous and am embarrassed and ashamed of what has happened in the city I used to live in. However, I can not say I am surprised given what I learned about Durham after living there. I graduated from Elmhurst College in 1999 with a BA in Communication and Urban Studies. |
