| Introduction | My blog is about the day-to-day madness and fun of caring for my elderly parents. I am trying to construct for myself a life. I am trying not to get lost while watching my parents slowly die. I am trying to be a unique individual in the midst of a Snow-Bird Trailer Park in Florida. I am trying to stay younger and still have fun. I am trying to keep my parents alive, even when they fight me at every step. I am trying to let go. My mother has dementia, and my dad has heart disease. They argue, I try to referee. And in the middle of all this, I have to figure a way to earn a living. Whee! |

Your people want to make a statue in your honor. What will it be made out of and what victory will it commemorate?
A statue of me would be to commemorate how many times I have re-invented myself. It would have to be made of playdough, so they could re-configure it every few years, and so that it could be lots of pretty colors.
