Introduction I am a mother, grandmother, business and marketing consultant and teacher of graduate business and marketing courses. I work nights in the ER admitting patients. I love working in the yard, walking the dogs, watching movies, traveling, and serving others, as much as I love working on business and marketing projects on or off of the computer. I have a picture that says, “Life is a series of new beginnings.” I have another that says, “The chief cause of failure and unhappiness is trading what we want most for what we want at the moment.” The intersection of these is my life – a series of new adventures, and at the same time focusing on what matters most. I have worked in politics, business development and marketing, for federal and state agencies, public and private businesses, and non-profit organizations. My work and personal life have taken me across the U.S., as well as all over Central America, Canada, Europe, Turkey, India, Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. In addition to my dogs and kids, I also have more than 20 exchange students who have lived with me and my children over the years.
Interests My personal activities include my Christian faith, my extended family, new internet and communication technology, market data and what it says, dogs, gardening, walking, camping, sewing, movies, community and cultural activities and associations.
