| Introduction | As a semi retired teacher, I am so lucky to be able to take time out to chase the sunshine almost when ever I wish. My travelling companions are usually my husband and sons or sometimes my sister in law and friends. In 2005 Matt and I in a moment of madness bought a holiday home by the sea in the Turkish town of Datca. This is our bolt hole and where I chase the sun most often. It can almost always be found there. We enjoy from our terrace what we think are the best views in Datca. We can see the Med, the Greek island of Symi, all along the coast to the Bozburun peninsula and Rhodes, the mountains behind us and the town of Datca. |
