| Introduction | This blog will be used as a means to communicate the weekly activity of Campus Crusade's 2012 Miami Summer Project to friends and family. I will be updating you all on specific exciting events that the team is experiencing, praises, and prayer requests. Above all, though, this blog will be used to document the marvelous work of our beautiful Lord and Savior and the manifestation of His mercy and glory in Miami. For those who are unfamiliar with the city of Miami or to those who are wondering why such a mission trip is necessary there, here is a little background: Miami, nicknamed the capital of Latin America, is extremely international with Spanish being the primary language. Not only is Miami the least churched city in the United States, it illustrates a stark socioeconomic class distinction. Campus Crusade’s Miami Summer Project maintains an emphasis on evangelism in a wide range of settings including college campuses, volunteer work within the homeless community, etc. I hope you all are moved by the mighty work of God as much as I know I and my fellow teammates will be :) God Bless!!
