| Introduction | A young rastafarian woman who awakens everyday to weave my culture and heritage into this modern metropolitan world and somehow, make the pieces fit and not get crumbled by Babylon in the process. I am searching for meaning and have found my purpose. I am working towards answering my calling; despite financial setbacks and hurdles. I am seeking to setup a nonprofit organization to help women work through the barriers to higher education. I am saving up to set up a scholarship (for starters)...to help cover costs for these endeavors, and hope to have the first award ready by the Fall 2011 Semester. If you have any advice, suggestions, or know of someone who would be willing to offer pro bono services (web design, legal, or otherwise)...please let me know! Thanks! |
