| Introduction | I was born just outside Atlanta. My first steps were taken in my Grandmother's Powder Springs living room toward her 26-inch Magnavox. It wasn't long before I could be found glued to that and any other TV that might cross my path giving critique on everything from Muppet Babies to Star Search. Halfway through the 6th grade I moved with my Mom and brother to a small town in Middle Tennessee. The most devastating part of this move was realizing my new home town was not 'cable ready' which forced me to blackmail relatives in Atlanta to get a regular fix of 90210 and Saved By The Bell! Upon receiving a communications degree from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, I took an internship with a local production company and began my climb up the TV production ladder, but I soon discovered I had far too much talent to contemplate the latest plot twist on This Old House. I left RIVR Media and set out on a new mission: Proving you really can amount to something, even if you don't turn that stupid thing off. Specifically by returning to college after 15 years to get a masters of English Education. My next adventure will involve the molding of young minds! Stay Tuned!! |
