| Introduction | I have a couple of admissions to make. One: I know nothing about art. Two: I bloody well should; I have a degree in History of Art. But, as evidenced by one of my uni housemates, you don’t need to know the basics to get yourself to graduation. We always relied on her, the maths extraordinaire, to split our taxi fare five ways when we arrived at The Willow (the celebrated Dim Sum Disco); but all she could give us was a blank stare. Whether or not this had something to do with the copious amounts of vodka she would have consumed beforehand… well, that’s open for debate. But my point is this: having a degree in something doesn’t necessarily mean you’re any more clued up on the topic than anyone else. So that’s my disclaimer. I don’t pretend to know anything about art. Sometimes I just think it’s pretty. And sometimes I just want to write about why I think it’s pretty. Think of this blog as the easy access entrance to the art world. If you know nothing about art and don’t think it should matter, come back on Wednesdays. I’ll be posting about artworks, artists and everything else. x |

All of the phone numbers have fallen out of your address book. Whose number do you look for first and why?
My boyfriend's, because he's the only person close to me whose number isn't imprinted on my memory.
