| Introduction | I am a bottom line kind of girl. as a kid, I went shopping for a birthday gift for the neighbor. I needed something just right, but it had to be affordable. I found a kite for $5. That was the budget. I was SO proud of myself. Mom said not to tell them the cost (how did she know how much the bottom line meant to me?). I told. For a while I tried to stop myself from telling the bottom line. But as conversations tip-toed closer and closer to the ever-present issue of cost (maybe not to others, but definitely to me) I almost always eventually told. I have a beautiful home. I love my home, and I love decorating, painting, buying, and making things to continually improve it. I am a visual glutton. And I love the bottom line. |
