| Introduction | There is a lot to put into this one section. Let me introduce myself. My name is Maguivil. It is a combination of Magaly and Vilma, who were my grandmothers. In Spanish my name is perfect, in English it soundsl like a town. I know, it's interesting, unique and mine. I go by Magui "maggie" but I feel like it sells half of my identity short. I am a thinker, not overly analytical, maybe a little cynical but a total cheerleader. I enjoy being around optimistic, world-changing kind of people. It tickles my brain and helps me feel alive. Visual art is so stimulating, and Performing arts cultivates a desire to improve myself. Orchestras make me cry, they are so amazing. This blog is my kitchen diary. I will write the way that I cook, a little bit of this and little bit of that. The only consistent ingredient in my cooking is love. |
| Interests | Religion is my interest, particularly my own (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints). Organizing is my passion project and my children and husband are my biggest source of motivation. |
| Favorite movies | The best movies involve wizards. I know, I am a total nerd but that is how I feel. Movies were meant for MAGIC! As you can tell, I love Harry Potter, I love The Secret life of Walter MItty, I love Marry Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Return to Me, Coco and many more. I love the magic of movies, but my movies have to have humor, drama, and fantastical themes. |
| Favorite music | I listen to anything. Music creates Magic. My philosophy is that there's nothing that can't be fixed by Music. |
| Favorite books | I love books. I don't get into them as much as I wish I could. I read a lot through magazines like TIME or church related materials. I attend the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. However, I treat all boooks the same, like reference manuals, I don't start to finish, I start many, or I read out of order; of course that truly depends on the genre. |
