| Introduction | Downstate Strings is a string quartet that plays music for weddings, wedding receptions, parties, and other celebrations in downstate Illinois and western Indiana. Downstate Strings comes with a unique repertoire of arrangements not used by any other string quartet, and we continually expand it by making custom arrangements of pieces for our clients' celebrations. Our performing area includes Charleston, Mattoon, Arcola, Arthur, Terre Haute, Bloomington, Tuscola, Champaign, Paris, Sullivan, Urbana, Decatur, Danville, Rantoul, Neoga, Effingham, Monticello, and many other cities in central Illinois and south western Indiana. |
